Buchu Soap
Since ancient times the local people of the Western Cape of South Africa have used the indigenous Buchu (pronounced Boo-hoo) shrub (Agathosma betulina) for a wide range of purposes, both medicinal and cosmetic. Our gentle Buchu Soap continues this cosmetic tradition and is made with pure plant oils and fine, fragrant Buchu powder for gentle exfoliation. The fragrance is very close to the scent of fresh Buchu: a beautiful blend of peppermint and blackcurrant.

Buttermilk Baby Soap
A much loved classic and one of our best-selling soaps. A pure blend of South African olive oil, gentle castor oil and buttermilk makes this an extra mild and conditioning soap suited for sensitive skin. Lightly fragranced with fresh, clean local lavender essential oil and chamomile. Due to its high olive oil content this soap is best when allowed to fully dry between uses. We recommend that you don't immerse the bar in water but rather rub it with a wet washcloth for use.

Gall Soap – Natural Stain Remover
An effective, natural, fully bio-degradable stain-removal soap with long traditions. Gall (or bile) is a natural surfactant designed by nature to break down fats that we eat. Long before the advent of cheaper synthetic alternatives, gall soap was recognized as a gentle yet highly effective means to clean delicate textiles like silk and fine lace. To this day it works like a dream.
Directions: Wet the stain and rub it thoroughly with the Gall Soap bar. Let rest for a few hours or over night and then wash as usual. Works on stains like grease, oil, blood, wine & grass. The fresher the stain, the better it works.
