Salty Liquorice Soap
Sexy and sultry this cocoa butter enriched dark soap with creamy white lather is a must not only for liquorice lovers but for every fisher and hunter out there. Made with sweet blackstrap molasses for perfect lather, ground liquorice root powder for light exfoliation, hand-harvested sea salt from the Kalahari and activated charcoal, it contains the ingredients of authentic liquorice with a high mineral content and detoxing properties. Silk and Bergamot Soap
A classic, milky white soap made with mulberry silk from the vacated cocoons of hand-reared bombyx mori silk moths. A mild and luxurious formula rich in gentle olive oil and creamy shea butter complimented by an essential oil blend featuring bergamot and rose geranium. St Florian Soap – Cape Rain
St. Florian, patron saint of fire fighters, chimney sweeps and soap makers, lends his name to this lavender blend soap. It's made with the cool, soft water sweeping in as winter rain over the Cape of Good Hope from the vast expanses of the Atlantic Ocean. This gentle, creamy soap rich in olive oil and cocoa butter and free of palm oil is made in the curious shape of an enigmatic, antique silver box with the face of a 'Green Man' or 'Jack-in-the-Green', a central character in the May celebrations of chimney sweeps. Traditional Pine Tar Soap
In the Nordic countries pine tar has long traditions as a protector and remedy for all kinds of things. Ropes and wooden structures both on land and on water have been preserved with pine tar since time immemorial and a saying that pre-dates the advent of modern medicine maintains that anything that can't be cured with pine tar, strong alcohol and sauna can't be cured at all. In this Traditional Pine Tar Soap genuine Finnish pine tar is added for beautiful deep brown colour and for that unmistakable scent of pure, well-manufactured pine tar. The soap that we add the pine tar to is a gentle formulation rich in traditional Nordic ingredients; lard and lanolin as the soaping ingredients closest in composition to the oils in our skin, cow's milk to enhance lather and hydrolyzed soft sheep's wool for a silky feel.
